WEDDING DAY TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions form an integral part of this contract and no modifications or variations shall be effective, unless agreed by Stancliffe Studios.

A booking fee of £450 is charged (non-refundable) when the customer signs this form and returns it to Stancliffe Studios. This fee is deducted from the total package price. The balance of the fees are due 4 weeks prior to the Wedding day. Payment for additional photographs is to be made when these are ordered at a later date. Weddings booked outside a 50 mile radius will be subject to an additional price to the package fees quoted. This additional price shall be confirmed when the exact location of the venue is known and confirmed.

Licence
Stancliffe Studios are to be granted artistic licence with respect to the poses, backgrounds and locations used. Every effort will be made to satisfy the wishes of the client after discussions with them, to accommodate all the photographic shots required. However, in instances where bad weather, non-participation of guests/Bride/Groom or associated parties, or any other circumstance at the event, the best judgement of Stancliffe Studios shall be made. If, for any reason, Stancliffe Studios experience a lack of co-operation from the Bride and Groom or associated parties, and photographs are unable to be taken according to Stancliffe Studios' instructions, Stancliffe Studios cannot be held liable.

All photographs are sized nominal. The photographs will provide a pleasing colour balance, but we cannot guarantee exact colour matching. Owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially man-made fibres, it is sometimes impossible to record on paper the exact colour of materials seen by the human eye.

Copyright
Under the 1988 Copyright Designs and Patents Act, the copyright of all photographs belongs to the Photographer and Stancliffe Studios. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied, any photographs belonging to the Photographer. It is a requirement of the Contract that all reprints/copies are to be handled through Stancliffe Studios.

Any use of the photographs for publication purposes by the client shall require the permission of Stancliffe Studios. Where digital copies of photographs are purchased or delivered as part of a package, then these may be used without restriction for personal use only, e.g. the images can not be re-sold or given to another third party for use. Stancliffe Studios have the right to use any photographs under this Contract for display, publication or competition.

Cancellations
The booking fee is non-refundable if the client cancels the wedding at any time. Cancellations of any wedding within 26 weeks of the wedding date will result in the Client being liable to pay 50% of the package fee booked. Cancellation of any wedding within 12 weeks of the wedding date will result in the Client being liable to pay the full amount (100%) of the package fee booked. The said sum is payable as compensation for lost bookings and other losses Stancliffe Studios may suffer.

Postage
It is assumed that all preview albums and such like items shall be returned via hand or by postage. If postage is used as a method from the Client to return preview albums or any such item, it is necessary to send these goods by either Registered Post of Silver Guarantee Service, to ensure safe arrival back to Stancliffe Studios. If the goods are not received by Stancliffe Studios, it shall be assumed that these methods of postage have not been used and the client will be held responsible for the full value of the goods.

Other Circumstances
In extenuating circumstances, eg Death, Personal Injury or sickness to the Photographer (this list is not exhaustive), Stancliffe Studios reserves the right to seek to find a replacement photographer to undertake the Contract.

Stancliffe Studios cannot be held responsible for the breach of this Contract due to circumstances beyond their control. These circumstances include but are not limited to: lack of access to the venue, Church/Reception/Venue becoming unavailable, weather conditions preventing travelling etc.
